Purchase contract / conclusion of contract
The purchase contract is concluded when full payment for your order has been received and approved.

All prices include VAT, shipping and, if applicable, customs duties. For deliveries to countries outside the EU, Switzerland and the UK, any additional shipping costs will be reflected at checkout before confirming your order. DEKO121 Interior Design GmbH reserves the right to change prices due to exchange rate fluctuations and changes in the world carpet market.

We ship with our partners UPS and DHL.

The approximate delivery time is approx. 2-5 working days and home delivery takes place on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

A shipping option is always free within the EU and Switzerland. Additional shipping services are available at checkout so you can choose the option that is most convenient for you.

Deliveries to the UK: EUR 40 delivery charge for all orders under EUR 300. We offer a free shipping alternative for orders over 300 EUR.

Return policy (30 days)
To ensure you are completely satisfied with your order, we offer a 30-day money back guarantee. This gives you the right to return your carpet(s) to us within 30 days from the day your order was delivered and get your money back. All refunds will be made the same way the original payment was received. To receive a full refund, the returned rug must be in the same, unaltered and unused condition that it was in when received. To avoid damage in transit, please be sure to pack the rug as it was packaged when delivered to you.

For returns from Switzerland, a return shipping fee of EUR 40 will be deducted from the total refund amount.

For returns from the UK, a return shipping fee of EUR 50 will be deducted from the total refund amount.

For returns from Hong Kong, a return shipping fee of EUR 220 will be deducted from the total refund amount.

For returns from the UAE, a return shipping fee of EUR 150 will be deducted from the total refund amount.

If you would like to return a rug, please contact our customer service team for instructions and further assistance. It is your responsibility to ensure that the carpet is returned to our warehouse in an undamaged condition.

Once a rug has been returned and inspected at our warehouse, we will issue the refund to the same credit card or bank account used for the initial purchase.

If a rug is returned without the proper return label issued by DEKO121 Interior Design GmbH, the customer will be responsible for paying all applicable costs such as shipping costs and any other additional import fees or costs incurred.

In the event that a rug is not returned in the same condition in which it was sent, the return will not be accepted. In this case, the customer will be notified and asked if he would like the carpets to be returned at his own expense.

Companies within the EU (VAT-free orders)
All prices displayed on the website include VAT. A company registered for VAT in an EU country other than Germany that has a valid EU VAT number is exempt from paying VAT. VAT is automatically deducted after you log in or register a customer account and provide a valid EU VAT number. Please note that we only deliver to the address where the company is registered.

Payment terms

  • Credit card

All credit card payments are processed in collaboration with Visa and MasterCard.

The data is transmitted securely via an encrypted connection and secured by SSL. DEKO121 Interior Design GmbH will never have knowledge of or store your card or account information.

  • Invoice: “Buy first. Pay later” – Klarna

Through our collaboration with Klarna, you can choose to pay by invoice: Buy first. Pay later (14 days)

You can pay without additional costs up to 14 days after your purchase has been dispatched. If you choose to pay by invoice, Klarna will carry out a routine credit check and cross-check with your personal credit report.

Customers in the following countries can choose to pay by invoice:

Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, United Kingdom.

Your personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection law and in accordance with the information in Klarna’s data protection declaration.

  • Monthly installments: “Slice It” – Klarna

Through our collaboration with Klarna, you can pay in flexible monthly installments. The installment payment is due at the end of each month after Klarna presents a separate monthly invoice. Customers in Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Finland and the United Kingdom can pay in monthly installments.

If you have chosen to pay by invoice or monthly installments, Klarna will carry out a routine credit check and a cross-check against your personal credit report.

  • Direct debit

All direct debit payments are processed in collaboration with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden. Your account will be debited after your order has been shipped. Klarna will inform you of the appointment by email.

Please note that payment by direct debit is only possible if your credit check is positive. For this purpose, we pass on your data to Klarna for address and creditworthiness checks as part of the ordering process and processing your purchase.

  • Bank Transfer

As a DEKO121 customer you can choose to pay by bank transfer. Once you have placed your order, you will receive an order confirmation with our bank details. When paying by bank transfer, please state your order number as the reference. We will ship your rug(s) once full payment is received.

Your payment should be received in our bank account within 5 days, otherwise the order will be canceled.

We provide a guarantee on all products purchased from us. The warranty is valid for 1 year from the delivery date of your carpet. The guarantee only applies if the carpet has been used regularly at home or in daily use. In the event of a warranty claim where it is deemed that the carpet has been subject to improper or excessive use (stains, chemicals, external damage, pets, mishandling), the customer must bear the cost of repair. Our specialist staff will examine the carpet and determine the cause of the damage. For warranty services and repairs, the customer bears all shipping costs.

Certificate of authenticity
We guarantee that the carpet delivered is hand-knotted and corresponds to the description on our website. For every hand-knotted carpet valued at EUR 400 or more, a signed certificate of authenticity will be sent to you with your order. If you would like a certificate of authenticity for a carpet with a value under EUR 400, we will be happy to provide you with one upon request.

Gift vouchers
The gift voucher is only active once it has been paid for. It is valid only for purchases at Carpet Avenue and cannot be combined with other gift cards or vouchers.
The gift voucher is valid until the specified date, after which it can no longer be redeemed.
If the value of the gift voucher is not enough to cover your order, you can pay the difference via bank transfer.
If you decide to return an ordered rug, a new gift voucher will be issued to you once the return has been approved. No currency exchange is possible. If you have any remaining balance from a previous purchase, you can use it to purchase a new carpet.

DEKO121 assumes no liability for lost, stolen or damaged gift vouchers or vouchers.

Error/damage during delivery
If something is wrong with your order upon delivery – you receive the wrong carpet, a damaged carpet or the wrong number of carpets, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. The error should be reported no later than 24 hours after receipt.

If there is visible damage to the outer packaging when delivered to you, do not open the packaging. Leave it untouched, document the damage with photos and report it directly to the shipping company DHL/UPS.

DEKO121 never shares personal information with third parties except as necessary for our delivery and payment partners.
